Ben Damiani received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004. After finishing his Ph.D., Dr. Damiani joined Intel Corporation in the Technology Transfer Group. Dr. Damiani has worked for large Solar manufacturing companies such as Solar World where he ramped a bifacial solar cell technology in Camarillo, CA. He was responsible for the 1st ever implementation of Ion Implanted Solar Cells in high volume production for Suniva, Inc. based in Atlanta, GA that was the highest efficiency industrial solar cell in 2010. Dr. Damiani successfully realized this USA born technology from concept and feasibility to 180 MW production. Dr. Damiani has worked in the solar industry in Europe, India, and Taiwan. He has over 30 publications and 8 patents.
