The Energy Club at Georgia Tech is dedicated to bringing together different viewpoints on energy as well as the social, economic and political factors that comprise the issue. We are a diverse group made up of technical and non-technical members from different fields of study spanning from first year undergraduates to fifth year doctoral students.

Sath is a 5th year undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Energy Systems. He’s very passionate about the energy industry wants to be a part of the global energy transition towards cleaner more sustainable energy for all!

Katie is an undergraduate Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Student with a minor in German. She’s enthusiastic about sustainability and energy, and excited to be a part of the Energy Club community.

Arnold Zheng

VP of Operations

Arnold is an MS analytics student, with an undergrad in electrical engineering, and primary work experience in the power industry, at an electric utility. He is curious about how systems and mechanisms work, broadly, and is seeking to apply data science to sustainability. His major interests revolve around climate change, energy, sustainability, key human rights, social conflict & refugees, systemic risks, process design. He also proclaims to enjoy hiking and dancing to an energetic beat.

Wolfgang is a 3rd Year Undergraduate studying Materials Science and Engineering, with a concentration in Structural and Functional Materials. He would like to help develop sustainable-energy technology in the future.

Luke is an undergraduate student is a second year student in Materials Science and Engineering. He is interested in researching materials for energy storage and in the future wants to research and develop technologies for sustainable grid infrastructure.

Reanna Rafiq is an undergrad chemical engineering major planning to graduate in ’24 with an energy systems minor. Outside of school, she enjoys playing piano and singing karaoke (badly). She hopes that her career can contribute to an increase in accessibility to clean energy for all!
